GSR Services GmbH is a German company providing services in the field of maritime compliance, including Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM), consulting, ship recycling advisory, and further related documentation services. Since more than 20 years they are active in all fields falling under the Hong Kong Convention and they were actively involved in the development of rules and standards. This deep insight is consistently applied for ensuring provision of unique compliance and quality services.
The IHM Categorization Tool is a product developed by GSR Services GmbH to bring scalable, automation-assisted IHM categorization to procurement teams, ship managers, shipowners, IHM service providers and other stakeholders. The tool combines AI-assisted classification with competent human expert review, delivered as a managed service.

GSR Services GmbH operates across a range of maritime compliance activities. Clients or partners of GSR Services GmbH in other areas of our business are not automatically clients or partners of the IHM Categorization Tool. The tool is a distinct product offering with its own terms of service, data processing agreements, and service scope.
Similarly, companies whose names or logos may appear in other GSR Services GmbH contexts have not necessarily endorsed, reviewed, or been involved in the development of the IHM Categorization Tool, unless explicitly stated with their permission.
We do not make claims about the accuracy, client numbers, time savings, or performance of the tool that are not supported by our own evidence.
